Bonnie and Scott Cameron saw a need, and therefore an opportunity, to build business-class accommodations in Fort St. James and the result is The View Hotel, a brand new, 62-room hotel set on the shores of beautiful Stuart Lake. The hotel is named for its breathtaking view of Stuart Lake and the beautiful mountain backdrop. The Cameron’s, who have been in business just under a year, are pleased to say the hotel is recognized by the community and guests for its outstanding service, clean rooms and affordable accommodations.

This is the challenge that Bonnie and Scott Cameron thrive on, and the small rewards they achieve along the journey continues to motivate and inspire them, like owning the View Hotel and being able to enjoy the beautiful view of Stuart Lake from their rooms. The couple loves to be able to have the opportunity to support local charities including local youth sports, or arts and entertainment. Giving back to the community feels good, and this is also one of the best rewards of being an entrepreneur.
