Hops Cold Beer and Wine Store carries domestic and import brands of beer and wine, plus a selection of spirits and liquor. They also provide delivery service. The owner, Scott Cameron, is proud of the way he has re-branded the store and given it a new image.
In addition to meeting the goals of offering the best convenience, selection, and friendliness in Fort St. James, it’s also very important to Cameron to support local sports teams. Hops Cold Beer and Wine Store sponsors various baseball teams and will be supporting local hockey teams.

Even though Scott Cameron has owned Hops Cold Beer and Wine Store for only two and a half years, he has been an entrepreneur for over 20 years. For Scott, being an entrepreneur is a way of life because he is passionate about setting goals for himself and then striving to meet those goals. It's a lifestyle that allows him the opportunity to travel and spend quality time with family. Perhaps most importantly, Scott enjoys the setting of Fort St. James, the lake, and the people who live here. He chose to operate his business in Fort St. James because it was a tremendous opportunity. "There is new demand and more potential for small businesses," is how he describes the business climate in the community.
